If an employer is already in possession of a consumer report (background report) that contains this information prior to submitting any requests to Simplified Screening: You may want to consider submitting an individualized assessment to the employer which simply explains the adverse information in your background report to the potential employer, why you believe it has no impact on the position you’re a candidate for, and why they should consider hiring you or keeping you in the position despite the adverse information on the background report.
